The Ideal Platform for DIY Aerial Photography.
The S500 is a high-stability 500mm quadcopter frame designed for hobbyists and aerial photographers. Widely considered the best upgrade from the classic F450, the S500 features a unique “upswept” arm design (dihedral angle) inspired by the professional DJI S800. This geometry significantly lowers the center of gravity, providing superior stability and self-leveling characteristics compared to flat frames.
Integrated PCB Wiring.
Keep your build clean and professional. The bottom plate of the S500 serves as a Power Distribution Board (PCB) with integrated solder points. You can solder your ESC power cables and battery connectors directly to the frame, eliminating the need for messy wiring harnesses.
High Payload Capacity.
With a 500mm wheelbase, this frame is capable of swinging 10-inch to 12-inch propellers. This provides enough lift to easily carry a GoPro, a 2-axis or 3-axis gimbal, and FPV transmission gear without straining the motors.
